Civil Rights legend Claudette Colvin died Tuesday at age 86. Colvin was just 15 years old when she was arrested in 1955 for refusing to give up her seat on a segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Along with other pioneers, Colvin helped inspire the movement that changed the world for millions of Americans. “I could not move because history had me glued to the seat,” she told David Begnaud in 2021 about the experience. | CBS Mornings
