Meaning of “Invincible” : r/ToolBand - Reddit
I seem to recall an interview where Maynard described Invincible as a painfully candid assessment of the band releasing Fear Inoculum after so many years between albums. “Struggling to remain relevant” is intended quite literally - 13 years later, would anyone still be interested in Tool “Weapon out and belly in” - touring the world at ...
Invincible is becoming one of my favourite Tool tracks of all time
How do you feel about Descending? That’s the other song that has grown on me just as much as Invincible, and especially because of the lyrics and vocal effects. The lyrical theme, crescendo of verses, and the trippy “tool”-sounding singing at the beginning make Descending one of my favorites on the album, and one that I really hope to see ...
Tool Invincible - Johnkew Drum Cover : r/ToolBand - Reddit
Feb 9, 2020 · Thanks for the upload. I enjoyed it. Seeing this played in its entirety, i have a thought: Watching the steady tom hit that went for almost 4 minutes straight - and prevalent through the entire song sporadically - you can make a reasonable assumption that Maynard heard this and immediately thought, "That's a war drum".
What time signatures does Invincible use? : r/ToolBand - Reddit
I'm trying in vain to tab this out and my god, the time sigs are just throwing me through a loop. The first part seems to be in 7/4 but once Adam plays that slow arpeggio, it doesn't line up anymore, seems like there are sneak measures of 15/8 thrown in to throw things off just a bit.
Thoughts on Invincible? : r/ToolBand - Reddit
Invincible is an absolute masterpiece. That is the best word to describe it. It hits on every level. One of TOOL's greatest songs of all time. I love it. I listen to culling voices and Invincible more than any other songs on the album. They are definitely my top two of the album and both are probably in my top 5 TOOL songs ever.
The second half of Invincible is peak TOOL : r/ToolBand - Reddit
Dec 26, 2021 · The 2nd half of Invincible is some of the most simplistic Tool written. Danny drums in 4/4 for once, the guitar is essentially one note, and it is overall rhythmically simple. The reason this simplistic section hits so hard is BECAUSE it is bookended by complexity.
TOOL - Invincible : r/progmetal - Reddit
Apr 24, 2021 · I suffer from the aging affliction as well. FI rocked my world, even if it was different. I didn’t mind, every tool album is different. I feel like I’ve gotten to grow with tool, at a similar pace. So I’m good with it. Since it’s release, it’s easily the album I’ve listened to the most. But I’m not a well-listened individual anymore.
How to make a tool invincible (Unbreakable)? - Reddit
So I want to give my self unbreakable iron tools, to begin, but the command that I used in older versions of the game (/give username YOURITEM 1 0 {Unbreakable:1}) doesn't work, I looked it up and people said to do Mending, which I did, it is supposed to repair the tools but I don't see any "durability" coming back, it just stays the same, and if I …
Dissecting Fear Inoculum’s time signatures : r/ToolBand - Reddit
Sep 4, 2019 · Invincible - guitar is 7/8 all the way. The drums do all the weird stuff. In the verses it's a 7 over 3 polyrhythm, and then they move to play dotted 8ths over the 7, which is a recurring theme in the song.
My go-to Tinkers' tools + tool building guide : r/feedthebeast
Dec 20, 2020 · Invincible tool: This is the best indestructible tool that can be made without any addons. Tinkers Tool Leveling makes this trivial of course. The writable stat from paper gives +1 modifier. If every part is made from paper, it this is raised to +2, giving a pick a total of 5. Using all 5 slots for reinforced makes it indestructible.
