The ECB runs successful England teams, oversees domestic and recreational cricket, and runs participation programmes that get children active and playing cricket. Through cricket we want to improve lives and connect communities.

These three Sub-Committees are comprised of leaders from across cricket and their purpose is to drive the success and growth of recreational, professional (i.e. domestic county and regional cricket) and performance (i.e. England teams) cricket across England and Wales.

The ECB is the single national governing body for cricket in England and Wales and was founded in 1997. Based at Lord’s, it is responsible for developing and supporting all areas of the game – from elite through to recreational level.

We invest in developing and creating winning England teams and play a range of formats – Tests, 50-over One Day Internationals and 20-over T20s. Grassroots and the elite game go hand-in-hand; every domestic and England player begins their journey on a local pitch.
