DETROIT, Mich. (WNEM) - It may not have been pretty but the Lions have snapped their seven-game losing streak on Thanksgiving. In the first half, Detroit was dominant scoring on their first four drives. During their fifth and final drive of the first half, Jahmyr Gibbs fumbled inside Chicago’s 10. Still, the Lions led 16-0 at the break.

The Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving tradition dates back to 1934, when the franchise moved to the Motor City. The Lions are 37-45-2 in Thanksgiving games.
