Nintendo is working on a new console, which the company has yet to officially call the Switch 2. It appears the follow-up to the popular portable console is coming soon, as photos of possible accessories are now popping up online.

You can already buy a carrying case and a screen protector for your Nintendo Switch 2 in China as an announcement draws nearer.

Many expected a Switch 2 reveal this fall. Instead, it looks like Nintendo fans will close out 2024 without even an official tease. But that hasn’t stopped rampant speculation and alleged leaks from filling the information void.

Thankfully, we're not too far off an official announcement now. The company has stated that it will announce the Switch 2 before the end of the current ficsal year ending 31st March 2025.

As for the screen protector, the images compare it to a protector for the current Switch, and it is significantly larger. This also lends credence to the claim that the Switch 2’s screen is eight inches compared to the original Switch’s 6.2-inch screen.
