As per reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has given an ultimatum to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to agree to a hybrid model for the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy. Notably,

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be hosted across three venues in Pakistan over February and March next year. But India, who have not toured Pakistan since 2008, told the ICC their government had not given them permission to travel to Pakistan for the event earlier this month.

Pakistan are the hosts of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In case, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) accepts the Hybrid Model, then Indian will play their games in Dubai.

A good sense has prevailed in the Pakistan government which has given go ahead to its cricket board to accept India's proposal about a Hybrid Model (playing at a neutral venue like UAE) which will act as a big Saviour to the game of cricket in this country thereby saving the right to host the Champion Trophy.
