One Direction star Zayn Malik honored his former bandmate Liam Payne in an emotional moment at his latest concert.

Malik left the boy band in 2015, and the remaining members went on an infinite hiatus one year later. They were never publicly seen together after their split.

Zayn Malik is honoring his late friend Liam Payne. On Friday (Nov. 29), the 31-year-old singer dedicated his song "It's You" to his former One Direction bandmate during a concert on his Stairway to the Sky tour in Payne's hometown of Wolverhampton,

"The five shot to superstardom in 2010 but splitting after six years was “really scary at first,” the artist said.

Although still mourning, Styles, Malik, Horan, and Tomlinson are ‘reconnecting and reevaluating’ their relationships after years of distance.
