The Fast movie franchise and Thanksgiving share a core concept: family. So it’s no surprise that star Vin Diesel took to Instagram to celebrate the holiday and his ongoing blockbuster series in the same breath — but it wasn’t exactly cracking-open-Coronas-at-the-backyard-bbq vibes.

Released in 2023, Fast X aka Fast & Furious 10 was said to be the first part of the final film in the much-loved globe-trotting action franchise. Before the release of the film, Vin Diesel had time and again expressed desire for Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock to return to the franchise years after their public feud but the former WWE wrestler didn’t budge or so it seemed.

In honor of Thanksgiving, Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel shared a post that also teases the upcoming Fast X: Part 2. He took to Instagram to share his Thanksgiving post and an image of himself and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the set of Fast Five.
