Several people were injured after a car drove through a crowd in North Philadelphia Sunday night, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two medics were injured after their ambulance was involved in a crash in North Philadelphia on Monday.

Multiple people were hurt when a car drove into a crowd in the Spring Garden section of Sunday night, police said.

The Philadelphia police said the incident did not appear intentional at the time but the driver has been taken into custody.
