The third-seeded Memphis Grizzlies suffered a very important loss against the second-seeded Houston Rockets on Monday night. To make matters worse, it looks like a big reason for the loss could be attributed to a costly mistake by the NBA officials.

A pair of 25-win Western Conference squads take the court on Monday, Jan. 13 when the Houston Rockets host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Toyota Center in Houston.

The Houston Rockets (26-12) travel to play the Denver Nuggets (24-15) on Wednesday at Ball Arena, the first game this season between the two teams. The Rockets won the season series 3-1 in 2023-24, with Alperen Şengün averaging 20.

Jan. 28 is the rescheduled date for last week’s postponed Rockets-Hawks game in Atlanta. Both teams will be on night two of a back-to-back.
