The Boston Celtics are currently positioned as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with a fantastic 40-16 record. Despite their ongoing chase for a championship repeat come season's end, there are some positional upgrades that could be made either this season or during this summer's free agency period.

Tatum, 24, helped the Celtics to a blowout win against the new-look Miami Heat on Monday night. Despite his status initially being in question for this game, the six-time NBA All-Star was eventually cleared to play and he led all scorers with 33 points, shooting 50% from the field.
