The Orlando Magic have had an.. unspoken.. problem. In many ways, they’re reminiscent of Boston Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Obviously, every team wants to compound talent in order to improve their chances of winning a championship.

Coming off its worst loss of the season, Boston got 30 points from Jason Tatum and a strong all-around effort from brown to thump Orlando at TD Garden.

Jaylen Brown was announced Thursday as one of the seven All-Star reserves from the Eastern Conference. It was the third straight All-Star nod and fourth in the last five years for Brown, who will join East starter Jayson Tatum at the midseason showcase in San Francisco on Feb. 16.

The Celtics made 17 3-pointers against the Magic on Friday night. Orlando ended with just 5. The long-range game was the difference.

It was a big game for the Celtics’ stars. Jayson Tatum scored 30 points, Kristaps Porzingis scored 23, and Jaylen Brown had 20.

The Orlando Magic faced the Boston Celtics again on Friday. A win by the Magic would give them the season series for just the third time in the last 10 years against the Celtics.

The Celtics defeated the Orlando Magic, 121-94, in a highly impressive bounce-back effort after suffering an embarrassing loss in Toronto.

Boston took advantage of a undermanned Magic squad, missing four rotation players with a dominant offensive effort from all areas of the floor. The Celtics shot a red-hot 61 percent from the field before intermission, helping them build a 12-point halftime lead.

Cooper Flagg and AJ Dybantsa were at TD Garden for the Celtics-Magic game Friday night. The New England natives saw the Celtics win handily.
