Stocks are higher as Wall Street puts the finishing touches on one of its best months of the year. The S&P rose 0.5% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 195 points, or 0.4%, as of 10:55 a.m.

Stocks are off to a mixed start on Wall Street as losses for Big Tech companies offset gains elsewhere in the market. The S&P 500 was down 0.1% in the early going Wednesday, even though far more stocks were rising than falling within the index.
