Anthony Stolarz made 27 saves in his first start since Dec. 12 to help the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Seattle Kraken 3-1.

Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Seattle Kraken 3-1 on Thursday night. Philippe Myers, Bobby McMann and Matthew Knies scored for the Leafs.  Eeli Tolvanen had the Kraken’s only goal, spoiling Stolarz’s shutout bid in the third period.

The Toronto Maple Leafs traveled to the Seattle Kraken on Feb. 6. The Maple Leafs left the Emerald City with a 3-1 win.

Holmberg – Robertson Pacioretty – Kampf – Lorentz Reaves Marner, who leads the Leafs with 70 points this season, won’t be rejoining Auston Matthews on the team’s top line, not right away anyway. He’ll skate instead on a line with William Nylander and John Tavares,

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz is set to start between the pipes for the first time since December 12 against the Seattle Kraken, while Mitch Marner also returns with the team after missing Tuesday’s contest against the Calgary Flamers.

Stolarz hasn’t played since December 12, marking an eight-week hiatus where the goaltender hasn’t seen game action.

Marner didn't want to get into specifics on the lower-body injury but noted it had nothing to do with his previous game.
