A 27-year-old Nebraska woman, Brittney Clark, has been charged with felony child abuse and third-degree assault after leaving a 4-year-old girl unattended in a vehicle in freezing temperatures.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have identified the person who died Sunday in a South Charlotte shooting. The victim, 17-year-old Yexon Madrid Perdomo, died after he was shot in the parking lot of a light rail station. CMPD has not named a suspect or said what led to the shooting.

Detectives are looking for Amir Amaru Moore, 22, who is accused of a shooting that left someone seriously hurt on Nov. 7 in northwest Charlotte.

A 17-year-old is dead following a shooting on South Boulevard near the light rail station at Archdale Drive. The shooting happened just after 8pm on Sunday. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the victims is Yexon Madrid Perdomo.

Shortly after arriving on the scene, detectives identified 38-year-old Belton Lamont Platt as a person of interest.
