Whlie the PCB had initially refused to accept BCCI’s demand for the 2025 Champions Trophy taking place in a ‘Hybrid Model’, they have softened their stance on the issue in the last few days and are willing to accept the deal,

“We have come up with a fair solution. If India refuse, they cannot expect us to play there in the future. If the ICC events are held in India, Pakistan should be allowed to play their matches or finals in Dubai, ensuring fairness,” a PCB source was quoted in the report.

Pakistan initially did not accept the demands put in place by BCCI, it has been reported that the PCB has agreed to the hybrid model, with India's matches set to be held in Dubai.

A decision on the fate of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy could be made on Monday. Pakistan have reportedly agreed to host the tournament in a hybrid model.
