A crash blocked part of Highway 50 in Sacramento Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash happened around 10 a.m. just east of Howe Avenue on eastbound Highway 50 and was initially blocking three lanes. A photo shows an Amazon truck was involved in the crash and had come to a rest across several lanes.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office, the two left lanes of eastbound Highway 50, east of Howe Avenue, have been closed for repairs to the traffic barrier, while lanes 3 through 5 remain open.

An Amazon truck that skidded across lanes on Highway 50 in Sacramento caused major traffic delays for hours on Saturday, officials said.
