Saturday Night Live' returns with a new episode tonight featuring first-time host, actor Josh O'Connor and returning musical guest Lily Allen.

On Dec. 20, returning host Ariana Grande will be back to helm the annual SNL Christmas show, supported by Cher as musical guest. Grande has hosted the show twice before, while Cher has only appeared as musical guest once, in 1987 (she also made a cameo on "Weekend Update" in 1992).

Josh O’Connor hosted this week’s episode, which satirized an airborne news conference and also featured a pair of very sensitive male strippers.

Announced by both companies on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, the three-year licensing deal aims to advance human-centered AI and respectful storytelling by bringing Disney characters into Sora, OpenAI’s text-to-video model that generates realistic, animated videos from text descriptions.

The sketch begins with a voiceover from a Christmas-style storybook: “On a cold December night, high above the Earth, flies a big jolly man of considerable girth. Making his way to every home under the sun, in his magical sleigh… Air Force One.”
