South Korea recovered to edge out Italy to win the women's 3,000-meter relay on Wednesday and earn its first short track speedskating gold at the Milan Cortina Olympics.

Italy’s Arianna Fontana has won her 12th Olympic medal and third gold at her sixth Winter Games. That extends her record as the most decorated short track speedskater of all time.

The team relay will be the final luge event of the Milan Cortina Olympics and will take place Thursday in Italy.

The luge relay event is still relatively new to the Winter Olympics and has a new competent since the last Games. The 2014 Olympics was the first to include the relay.
