CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A driver who earned his only NASCAR win at the famed Daytona International Speedway died at age 39, his former team confirmed this past week. JR Motorsports said on Friday, Dec. 5, that Michael Annett -- who competed in NASCAR’s top three series from 2008-2021 -- died. The team did not say how the former driver passed.
