Commissioner Jay Monahan announced that the PGA Tour will release pace of play data starting next month. Two of the biggest stars in the game, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas, called for the PGA Tour to make slow play issues more transparent ahead of The Players Championship. They want names of the offenders.

The tour will begin publishing speed-of-play-related statistics, launch new speed-of-play policies including assessing penalty strokes for violations on the developmental tours and test the impact of using rangefinders during the six tournaments between the Masters and PGA Championship.

In an interview with Golfweek, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan expressed a desire for the PGA Tour to return to Trump National Doral at some point in the future. Monahan was asked about President Trump's involvement in a possible deal and whether that would include Trump-owned properties getting back onto Tour schedules.
