The decision to do so comes as no real surprise, given his comments from last Tuesday night after his final TGL match of the season. “Not really,” Woods said when asked if he had entertained the idea of making a start in Florida before The Masters in April.

Nine-time major champion Gary Player has raised a major doubt about Tiger Woods ahead of this year’s Masters. Woods, 49, is yet to return to competitive action after the PNC Championship in December, while his last tour start was The Open at Royal Troon in July.
