A day after suffering strong losses of about 1.5 per cent, Indian stock market benchmarks- the Sensex and the Nifty 50 - jumped by almost a per cent each intraday on Friday, November 29.

Indian equity benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, surged in trade on Friday a day after plunging sharply. While the BSE Sensex moved up over 700 points, Nifty50 reclaimed 24,100.

The Nifty 50 ended the session with a gain of 0.91%, closing at 24,131, while the Sensex rallied by 0.91%, finishing at 79,760. However, the broader markets underperformed the benchmark indices.

Angel One, Adani Green, BSE, Delhivery, Jio Financial, LIC, Lodha, Nykaa, Paytm, PF Fintech, SJVN and Zomato among 45 new stocks to start trading in the F&O segment from today.

Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 24,274.90, while Sensex ended at 80,234.08. Overnight, Wall Street indices ended lower, with S&P 500 and Dow Jones down 0.

Indian equity benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, opened flat in trade on Wednesday. While BSE Sensex was above 80,000, Nifty50 was near 24,180.

The Indian stock market is expected to open higher amid mixed global cues. The Sensex and Nifty paused their rally but foreign investors have shifted to net buyers. Analysts recommend a 'buy-on-dips' strategy with key support and resistance levels.
