New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore thought he had a good position to challenge the two-point conversion run by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, but he felt like his leg got held on the play.

In a back-and-forth game with the Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts were able to lean heavily on their run game to help them escape New England with a much-needed win. Coming into this matchup, the Colts’ run game had been struggling, particularly between the tackles, over the last month.

Any hope that the Indianapolis Colts (6-7) had of taking advantage of a generous final stretch of their schedule to sneak into the playoffs was nearly dashed at Gillette Stadium on Sunday as they eked past the New England Patriots (3-10) late by a score of 25-24.
