Former England captain Alastair Cook has now hailed Yashasvi Jasiwal's confidence in having the courage to tell Mitchell Starc that he is "bowling slow."

Alastair Cook was left amazed by Yashasvi Jaiswal after the young southpaw engaged in a playful banter with Mitchell Starc in the opening test match.

During the second day play of the first Test in Perth, Jaiswal took a dig at Starc, saying, "You are coming too slow at me". The left-arm fast bowler, had a smile on his face while walking back to his mark.
