Alappuzha: In a tragic incident, five first-year MBBS students from Alappuzha Government Medical College lost their lives when the car they were traveling in collided with a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) passenger bus on Monday (Dec 02) night,

In Alappuzha's Kalarcode, the CCTV footage of the accident revealed that the car, traveling at high speed on a rainy night, lost control and collided with the bus before being crushed beneath it.

Due to the impact of the collision, the car was completely damaged and the occupants inside were taken out after breaking open the vehicle, police sources said.
