It's been a rough week at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open for LIV Golf star Cameron Smith, who made his displeasure known about course conditions, hoping to build off a second-place finish at the recent Australian PGA Championship.

Cameron Smith is not happy with the conditions at the opening week of the Australian Open, considering that heavy rain is not the reason for soft and slow layouts. The 31-year-old believes that the course was not set up as expected this time.

Australian Lucas Herbert has a four-shot lead after two rounds, but the focus was on the battle between Cameron Smith and playing partner Elvis Smylie.

Cameron Smith does not know if the dual gender Australian Open will continue beyond this year, insisting the logistical chaos of men and women playing together made for a “long week”.

The 31-year-old believes that its not necessary to talk to Smylie, considering that there are better ways to solve such things.
