Moana 2 is going far, and bringing the rest of the box office along with it. After breaking a record for the Thanksgiving box office, the Disney sequel led the whole box office to break yet another record on Sunday.

A trio of blockbusters — “ Moana 2 ,” “ Wicked ” and “ Gladiator II ” — are fueling a record-breaking Thanksgiving bounty.

That’s not even to mention the windfall that came from the combination of its ticket sales with the other top movies. Together, Moana 2, Wicked and Gladiator II earned the lion’s share of what was the best five-day Thanksgiving period on record with $422 million.
