How long should I allow to spend here?

An hour or less allows for a nice stroll through the area but there are also picnic areas if you want to bring lunch or snacks.

Yes: there is generous parking space available.

Is this something that is feasible to walk during the winter with young kids? Would rather walk then drive through.
A:
I've never gone in the winter but I think it would be great fun since the snowmobiles pack it down. It's a really nice walk in the summer.

Based on comments from friends who live nearby, their 2 Standard Poodles were allowed to walk thru, no matter the time of year.

Park is open 24/7 but it is not lit.
